adding more units to FTTP line

[link to this post]

Hi, does anyone know how I add more units to my package?

I'm on an FTTP/H line if it matters?

I tried following the 'upgrade package' route, but that's not available for FTTP lines.
Just wanted to check i'm not missing something obvious before i ring!

Thanks!

Have you checked this page already (the tariff bit)?

Thanks, I did look there yes. From there, I followed the 'upgrade' route, but wasn't able to follow through as it says this isn't available for FTTP lines, and should ring. I just wasn't sure if 'upgrading' is what is required to add an extra unit to an account - was under the impression it was a bit more flexible than that (could and & remove units more or less as & when I liked)

Ah I see. You might want to ask in the IRC channel then for a direct staff response, or just give them a ring as you say, as this forum is pretty quiet (a good thing really).

I can't really help anymore than that as I'm still currently in the process of having mine setup tongue

I'm not on FTTx but the normal approach:
-Go to the broadband ordering page using the "Order Now" button on http://www.aa.net.uk/broadband.html
-log in with your account number and password
-click on bradband to expand if ncecessary
-click on the address line for your site which will bring up an "edit site options" page
-clicik change your tarrif
-adjust units
-confirm
-confirm order on order page that appears.

I assume it's similar for FTTx - NB this isn't the same as "upgrading" your package.
