Yes, Ofcom who are the telecommunications regulator (set the laws for the industry) say ISPs must (by law) provide a MAC code to a customer within 5 days of it being requested. They must also be unobtrusive.

Complain to AAISP by post using Ofcom's template letter and see your MAC code appear very quickly

Thats odd.
When I migrated out I had a mac within less than a minute as they seemed to use an automated process to send them out.

I'm sure a quick phone call would sort this out straight away without the need for getting into a formal complaint process.

Checked your spam folder?

That's unlike them. Something must have gone wrong with I thought was an automated system. Suggest you call or pop
irc during business hours tomorrow, I'm sure they'll be able to rectify very quickly indeed.

5 working days!

There were only 5 working days in the last 10 calendar days.

Hi shedboy79,

I'm glad it's sorted now...

MACs are normally emailed out within a few minutes of them being requested. If you're able to email in with the details we can look to see what the delay was in this case.

Hi

Thanks for replying

the fault was actually on my part, sorry frown

I am very sorry to leave, you have been a great isp but we need the internet during the day a lot more now as we are about to have our second child and my wife will be in a lot more. Maybe if you ever change your packages when day time is the same as evening time i would come back.

Thanks again for your excellent service
