AOL Welcome Screen

[link to this post]

Just wonder if anyone is experiencing the problem of the welcome screen not loading up. I am using the 9.6 software, the program loads up ok from the desktop and I can access my emails. What i get is a blank welcome screen. My pc is working fine in all respects and I can use IE8 via google for the internet. Short of doing a fresh install of aol has anyone any other suggestions please?
Thanks

Aol software is only bloatware/spyware and isn't really needed anyway
why anyone would be so bothered about it let alone even use it is beyond me, I'm surprised they haven;t renamed it to the talktalk welcome screen yet

When I was on AOL, before Talk rubbish took them over, I liked the AOL software, it kind of gave the service a community feel.

that was on Dial up and Broadband, Saying that i was only with AOL on broadband for a month.

Eh? How can you sign on to AOL thro' Google? They are completely separate!

You mean you go to the AOL website via your browser? And you need to search for it 1st? Duh!

You do know that the AOL website is not the same as AOL BB? That's the bit owned by TT.

EDIT: And you are 1 year too late grin

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 19 Meg WBC
