I had a Thomson ST585 router and it allowed me to connect to AOL at over 4mb. When it went faulty AOL sent me a Huwei HG523. This is an N series router but I can't get anywhere near 4mb.
Not sure if AOL changed my settings or the router needs tweaking or is inferior to the Thomson?
I would appreciate any helpful comments.
The same one as Talk Talk uses, I replaced one of those with old netgear DG-834 for someone and they get a better speed snf better connection.
TT seems to be up Huwei backside, and it flipping scares me to thing that peoiples data is now going through Huwei system as they operate TT homesafe.
