Netgear DGND3300v2 and AOL

[link to this post]

Some years ago we upgraded to AOL wireless and received their Speedtouch 585 v6. All has worked well until recently when our signal is swamped by neighbours' signals.

We have therefore bought a Netgear DGND3300v2 Dual-band Router, but cannot find the login-name/password combination needed.

The response from AOL is that the new router "is not supported" which I take to be "we can't help" rather than it won't work. How can I find the current login details from the existing router - or better still what do I need to install the Netgear router.

TIA

aol can provide you with username and password regardless of the router not supported.Be specific when you call and say that is the only information required.

The Speedtouch must contain the login-name under its set-up. The password may be blocked out. If so, you are entitled to ask AOL for it.
