Up to about early November we had quite reasonable download speeds.
Since then, it's got slower and slower to the extent I bit the bullet and contacted AOL.
After a lot of suggesting the blindingly obvious, I actually spoke to someone who suggested a fault on the line and someone will ring to say they are fixing it.
Naturally nothing has happened, the speedtest.net usually indicates reasonable speed, but the thinkbroadband and real world downloads come in about a quarter or less although the up load is nice and static.
I'm on the ADSL2+ AOL system and think the problem is from the exchange into their system which suggests not a lot will happen.
Would I be right?
