AOL sign-in

[link to this post]

Hi - I keep getting messages about insecure login from AOL.

Your account is currently not enabled to sign in from apps that do not meet modern security standards (e.g. older versions of email and calendar apps such as Outlook). As a result, we prevented a sign-in to your AOL account.

Date and time: 07 June 2018 00:37:41 PDT
Location: United Kingdom

We strongly recommend that you switch to AOL's apps such as AOL Mail on desktop and mobile and remove your account from all other less secure apps.

However, I cannot find a desktop app for AOL. Is it only available in the US?

No help for your problem ...

but highly advisable to remove that IP address from your post, if you click back on on your opening post thereís a button that allows you to alter the post for a few hours after itís posted.

Hi

I have removed it, not sure why it needed to be removed though?
Cheers

I think the desktop APP has been stopped many years ago (at least 10 years).

Thanks for this - I don't get why they keep suggesting I use it!
When I went to AOL help they said the app was available via the Microsoft Windows store!!
Cheers

The Windows store is for the app if you've got a Micosoft Windows phone and does not work on a PC

It can make remote access to your connection easier.
