I was a Host and then a Guide and then a community liaison for AOL back in the day.

I still remember the cold sweat when I got my first phone bill as a volunteer - which was over £2500 - AOL paid it the next day which was handy!

It wouldn't have taken anyone else to your e-mail so don't fret!

Yes - it's still there but these days not worth paying for.

For nostalgia I was UKHostJam and then GuideUK SJ

Oh happy days!

It was suggested that this is what TT wanted who inherited this software when they took over AOL
No, TT did not inherit the s/ware. They took over only the UK arm of the BB service. The s/ware, email service & screen names remained with AOL Inc.

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC
