Vivaldi - on the accordion

[link to this post]

Heard a track from this album on the radio this afternoon. Quite taken by it, and most of the other tracks.

Think I may well be adding the album to our collection.

I listened to some of the "tasters" from the MP3 version... intriguing, but not willing to pay around nine quid for it tongue

You can listen to it on Spotify if you want a bit more than "a taster".

I've never yet put a p2p application on any of my computers and I'm not about to start now tongue

I'll listen to "tasters"; if I like it enough I'll buy it, if I don't I won't- simples smile

Agreed, Bill, I had a look on YouTube, there's some of his recordings on there - in full.

And SWMBO likes it (and she's having to put up my current very irritable situation a lot at the moment), so it becomes a no-brainer.

I don't have that sort of force majeure to worry about*, I just please myself grin

* If I did, it's quite likely that some tracks wouldn't get played very often!

Not sure I'd call her force majeure, but I take your point grin

Hmm.. hands up - I didn't realise it uses P2P networking but I won't be removing it for now.

I take it the reason is solely one of security?

I'd risk a medium-sized bet that you're far from the only one frown

Yes. I've no doubt that Spotify are completely trustworthy, but nor have I any doubt that some of their users aren't.

I'm not paranoid about the security of my machines, but I see no point in inviting trouble!
