SamKnows Broadband Measurement

Has anyone else joined this ? I got my measurement unit today and it's all attached and (ho pefully) running properly.

It will be interesting to see that statistics each month.

I've been running mine since March 2011.

I've been on this for about three years now, you can log in any time and see your results here:

And I've had one since February.

Dashboard figures are interesting - particularly during the recent troubles with BE*

Not aware that we get any feedback other than this but some ISPs get a summary of data for their connections.

Have you seen the thread on the Fibre forum about how the whitebox should be connected?

Unfortunately the forgotten password isn't sending a reminder so I cant log in there...

No, 'cos I dont have Fibre yet... But the included instructions detail it all...

I have had one for a few years now, the old Black Linksys box, and have just switched to Infinity, so I emailed them telling them I had connected their box to one of the normal LAN ports and my system to the Gig-E port, asking if that was okay.

They are supposed to be sending me a newer unit but there is a queue for them.

I have since upgraded from the White box/HH to the AVM Fritz! 7390 so the SamKnows unit is now on a Gigabit LAN port as well, first set of graphs look promising.
