New to TBB question about constant pings from pingbox

[link to this post]

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Doing a security check I noticed constant ICMP traffic from pingbox1.thinkbroadband.con. How do I stop this? I haven't registered my IP address (non-static) and have had to create an account on the forum to try and find any answer (it's not obvious on the main site FAQ).

Again, sorry if this is covered elsewhere, I am new at this stuff.

Thanks.

Email team@thinkbroadband.com and they can look into the list of pings that have been setup.

Probably someone set it up, and then forgot to delete it from their profile.

You posted under BQM. Why? Any special reason?

Have you used BQM before that would account for these pings?

1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 19 Meg WBC

I posted under BQM because it was the only place on the FAQ that mentioned these pings. I have never even heard of BQM before let alone used it.
