BQM and HH5B

All I have been getting on my BQM is red. How do I change my HH to allow the ping?

BT HomeHubs will not respond to WAN pings and there is configuration to allow it either.

Switch to different hardware is the solution

I have the same problem myself but until I figure out how to get YouView working with my own router, another solution would be to have something from inside my LAN periodically ping a reliable address on the Internet and log things this end.

I wonder if the BQM IP would be suitable for that? It responds to pings reliably but I'd rather not just ping it without checking first e.g in case it's likely to cause any issues. No worries if not, it's just a thought.

Cheers
