Regular Packet loss VM 70Mb

[link to this post]

Hi,

Over the last week I have had some problems with my internet connection. Online gaming has been a bit laggy and youtube videos or videos on Facebook sometimes having to buffer for quite a while, which is not normally a problem. On looking at my BBQM I noticed regular spikes of packet loss. I power-cycled the router, but it doesn't seem to have helped.
Here's the graphs for the last few days.

The timing with packet loss once per hour is two regular to be local congestion, but suggests some thing else, e.g. a timed periodic upload of data swamping the connection (it might be someone else on the cabinet causing congestion for all)

Thanks. I phoned VM and ended up doing a factory reset on the router. They then applied some settings from their end and so far it seems to be ok, but time will tell.
