Dynamic DNS?

[link to this post]

In the notes for the BQM it says:

"Can you monitor my connection if I have a dynamic IP?

We can only monitor your line if you have a static IP address as we are not able to track changes to your IP address at the moment. We will look at adding this functionality in a future version."

Is this really still the case with the new web site? smile

What actual url is that text on?

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/faq/broadband-quality...

Do you support Dynamic IP addresses or hostnames?

Yes! As of May 2017, we now support hostnames as well as static IP addresses, so if you use a Dynamic DNS service then you can provide us with your hostname and we will update the IP address when it changes.

I found it when I was looking on the page that shows the status of my monitors. It was in the explanatory text below the monitors themselves. The URL is:

https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/...

It is a useful new feature which I though might have come with your new web site.
Clearly that is not the case!

Page needs updating then as I pasted from the actual FAQ
