Without seeing the actual BQM it is impossible to say if the jitter/spikes are par for the course on the Virgin Media service or not

I have a similar problem with my VM vivid 100 connection. Just ran a bqm since yesterday, and here are the results:

Haven't used the connection or any device's between 12am until 5pm.

Could you please help me interpret this graph? Is this normal?
VM forums say my figures for downstream and upstream are fine...

I will try modem mode this weekend. Thanks for your help.

I'd say latency jitter (yellow) is worse than usual but likely Virgin Media won't accept that it is not as good as it could be

Probably about as good as you can get on DOCSIS via Virgin Media assuming the spikes around 8pm were you doing something
