Hi,
how do you get interleaving turned off? Is it just a case of calling support? Will they know what I'm on about?
Cheers

Very varied...
In theory you can call support and they will submit a request for it to be turned off (aslong as your line stats are ok) and it will be "done" in 24-48 hours...
In reality the person on the phone will no doubt try and stall you, eventually put the request through... nothing will happen - call back and they will tell you it will be done in 5 days, nothing happens, call back and be "promised" 48 hours and they will "escalate" it - still nothing will happen... eventually you either get lucky, maybe get helped by one of the online team or have to submit the request to the highest level of BT to get anywhere...
GOOD LUCK!

Yep call support and ask them to turn it off. I think it's partly luck if you get off first time, I had to call up 3 times. First call they didn't have a clue what interleaving was and went through a useless script. Second call they told me I had to turn it off myself on my router. Final call they sent me to sales even though I knew they couldn't help, to which I made it clear I wasn't going to get thrown around. I then was put through to very helpful bloke who knew exactly what to do and by the end of the week it was sorted. That was the last time I called support thankfully! not done so in years or I might have gone bald from pulling my hair out.
Maybe try email or even the BT reps here who seem very helpful?

Hi Chris
I can have interleaving looked at for you but need to confirm that your Broadband is with BT, as we can't interfere with another suppliers service as I am sure you understand.
If your Broadband is with BT then please pm me your account details and I will be happy to have this checked out.
