Did this actually work for you Chaskins?

If so, would you be able to do it for me as well Craig? Phone support seems to be... special, shall we say.

Thanks

Re: Interleaving switched off

[re: BTSupport_Sean] [link to this post]

Only just found about interleaving. I am with BT and play a lot of online gaming (can't get enough call of duty!) but the lag could do with improvement.
I have checked the homehub and my line is interleaved. I have very low errors on the line so should be okay without it i guess.
If i pm my details, would 1 of the nice support team living on here be able to disable it for me?
Thanks in advance
Ben

Hi Blau101

Ah yes! The awesome wonders of call of duty.

No worries I'll get the old interleaving turned off for you now just PM me your account details.

As I have seen a couple of requests for this I am just going to say it again, this can disrupt your connection but if this does happen just let me know.

But be warned if I start getting killed all the time online you might find this being turned on again! smile

Cheers

Craig

PM sent.
I'll see how it goes with the connection. I know i have a decent line and am fairly close to the exchange so hopefully should be fine.

"But be warned if I start getting killed all the time online you might find this being turned on again!"
Oh, so thats why some people have been having issues getting interleaving disabled using phone support. The support team are all hardcore gamers and don't want to give up their advantage online laugh smile

Just wanted to say thanks to Craig from the support team for switching my line profile to fast. My ping times were coming consistently around 42, tested tonight and it came in at 26, so should help with the online gaming (asuming my line stays stable!)
Thanks for the cracking customer service, i'll be sure to pop along to these boards if i have any other queries/problems in the future.
Ben
