Interleaving Issue - Pls help!!

[link to this post]

Hi,

I am looking to get interleaving turned off on my line.

I have been with BT internet now for around 2-3 Months and have had nothing but high pings to all gaming servers inside the UK and out. 80+ on average!

Before I changed over to BT's 20mb service I was using UK Online internet 2mb service and was getting 17-30 ping on UK servers.

So 'UPGRADING' to BT's 20mb service has seen me get faster downloads?? YES. But better or same performance gaming?? NO.

This is causing me a lot of issues as i play online games at a good standard and my connection is causing me issues.

So could I please have an admin help me to have interleaving removed from my line?
I have made at least 3 phone calls to BT at around an hour each with no success and still rubbish pings!!!

Please help me! frown

Thank you very much.

George

p.s. I am fully aware there was another thread going regarding Interleaving being switched off but seen as the last BT_HELP or administrator post on it that was able to help with interleaving being switched off was back in OCT 2009 and none since even with people asking for help I thought I would start a new thread!

Thanks.

Contact BT_Care on here. Thats what I have done the other day, so will hopefully get a response from them soon, and have my interleaving turned off.

sorry to be a nuisance, i was just wondering if any of you could tell me how long it should take roughly to have this turned off. I logged it as a call to the helpdesk as well to try to cover all angles/speed things up.

Just wondering how long I should wait before assuming it hasn't been picked up and call again.

Cheers
