New Infinity install

BT infinity option 2 installed this afternoon. Engineer tells me i'm synched at 39.99 / 10
this is my speedtest...

Speed Test Results
Date 02/03/11 19:35:22
Speed Down 296.36 Kbps ( 0.3 Mbps )
Speed Up 371.83 Kbps ( 0.4 Mbps )
Port 8095
Server speedtest2.thinkbroadband.com

Totally unusable, i have spoken to bt on the phone and they tell me it can take 10 days, i can barely open a webpage frown

Is there any BT reps on here who can sort me out please?

Hi if you go to who`s online and you should see BT_care on the list
there send them a message with your problems and hopefully they should help you
BT care is also on Twitter you may get a quicker reply from there

Doesn't sound right. When mine was installed it went full speed right out of the gate. Shouldn't be that low.

Can you run through the BT speedtester? http://speedtester.bt.com/

It should provide information on the IP Profile of the line. That would give a little more insight.

According to posts on the BT Forums themselves the 10day training period is more important to ADSL Max not Infinity frown
I would try and contact BT_Care either on here or on Twitter smile
