BT Infinity went from 23Mbps (Frist Month) to 35Mbps !?

[link to this post]

So I got BT infinity with an estimated speed of 25Mbps, but actually got 23Mbps and this lasted a whole month. Then one day the internet went down and I went up to 26Mbps. Now today, my speed just randomly went up to 35Mbps! (I tested on multiple servers and test sites).

Why is this? I can't see anything going on in my area (Dunfermline)

I'm so happy!

Probably caused by your exchange being upgraded ready for the 80Mbps product, (profile 17a). This increases the number of frequencies available, in the same way as ADSL2+ can give higher speed than ADSL(1).
