BT Usage Monitor

Is it mental?

I have been on Infinity for 4 days, done a couple of windows updates, updated a few PS3 games and played MW3 and it is saying i have used 12.5GB.

Not done any streaming, dont do torrents, not downloaded any music or films, it is clearly a lying git!

you would be suprised how large some of these updates for games are and how much bandwith some of these top end games over time can actually take up.

Ive seen me using around 2-3GB in under 2hrs just watching Videos on Youtube.

Athlon 64 6000+ AM2 X2, ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe 570 NForce Mainboard, 4GB DDR 2 XMS2 800Mhz Cosair Ram, 6054.81GB Hard Disk Space, 1GB ATI 4670 HD PCI-E 16x Graphics, 850watt PSU.

My router has a throughput meter and it matches my BT Infinity stats on the BT site quite closely. For example, currently I have the following figures

Router 18,656 MB at 13:35
BT 17.84 GB at 00:00

Quite feasible that I have down nearly 800MB since midnight as I left several computers running downloading various updates overnight.

Rather than just saying the BT monitor is garbage I would have a good look and see what is really being downloaded via your connection.

Provided you're on option 2, does it matter?

It's unlimited any way!

Its reading wrong for me also.

Says we have used 188gb this month so far witch is total rubbish
The Home hub says 84gb so far and after counting up the netmeter totals from the computers they add up to 79gb

Dose the Usage Monitor count BT Vision usage?

BT 8MB
