Infinity 160Mb/s

[link to this post]

I see that BT are offering Infinity at up to 160 Mb/s. I'm told that my area doesn't have this yet (I have the 76 Mb/s deal). Is there any way of finding out when it will arrive here? I'm in SE London and we're usually upgraded pretty fast when something new comes up.

Infinity 160 Mbps will be the full FTTP product, so available in areas with native FTTP (if you have FTTC already you cannot have native FTTP)

There is Fibre on Demand with its variable £700 to £2500 install fee and 36 month contract, but BT Retail are not offering that yet, and likely to be a business thing.

Yes; enter your number/address into this checker:

https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

That will tell you all of the broadband technologies which BT Wholesale have in place at/around your address as far as I know.

Thanks for that. It's a bit silly to put it on the customer options page (BT.com) if it's a business package and not actually available. I get about 65 Mb/s via Ethernet and about half that with wireless (next room) so I can't really complain.
