I've got a problem with BT broadband dropping out. I've had two engineer visits and everything is as good as it can be on the BT side. Until such time as I find out what in my electrical installation causes the drop-outs I have the problem that my profile speed is systematically reduced over time. e.g. when the engineer visited last week homehub monitor was showing a speed of 3.5Meg but my profile speed was only 135Kbps. Hardly faster than dial-up.
Q1. Is there any way I can find out what my profile speed is.
Q2. Is there a way to contact BT and get my profile speed increased again when it gets very low? (Without spending hours talking to the Indian call centres.) Or do I have to book an engineer visit every time?
