What does BT show for FTTP enabled lines?

[link to this post]

The BT BROADBAND AVAILABILITY CHECKER has shown that my line now has FTTP available on it for a couple of weeks now. However if I Check BT Infinity availability on the BT Retail site it shows no availability. Does any one know what the BT Retail site should show for an FTTP enabled line? Is there information on the Web site as to which FTTP packages there are available?

AIUI priced and sold just as FTTC, so that's what you would normally get, though I saw Infinity 4 mentioned a while ago for 330/30.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 59.4/14.4Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

No availability of any Infinity 1 or 2 service?

I have checked another address I know actually has FTTP installed and the wholesale checker lists WBC FTTP but all you get is the standard Infinity 1 and Infinity 2 services on the BT Retail site, which is fine, as they will be delivered over FTTP.

OK. That makes sense, but at the moment for my line BT Retail shows no availability. Possibly waiting for the database to update but it has been nearly 2 weeks now.

In theory should show availability of Intinity 3 and 4 (works on a known address) but it is a bit confusing as answer is half way down the page.

Not quite sure why, but for me and some other local residents, we are only getting the choice of up to 80/20 FTTP on the site at the moment. Someone wants to downgrade to 220/20 from 330/20 but does not have this choice.

The page that should be displayed is this - http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/broad...

I think it's probably just gremlins in BT Retail's systems.

Must like me as it offers Infinity 3 and 4 to me.

However I have had issue with the product database in the past as it missed my house out of several hundred that could have fttp which took a few weeks of complaining about to sort out. Once I had proof that I was in the fttp catchment area.
