FTTC Install

[link to this post]

Hi guys,

Today I finally got infinity installed after the engineer missing my appointment BT and openreach got me a engineer out in the afternoon smile.

Now Ive guessed my line is around 500-600m long but I have sync speeds of:

Downstream: 79478 kbps
Upstream: 19999 kbps

I know these will drop but the engineer said they wont drop too much... All in all very happy!

And I have had battles with people in the past trying to convince me FTTC will not work at all beyond 300-400m

Haha well you won't hear that argument from me..

Still amazed at how my line is handling those speeds especially since my estimate was 60meg max

Nice to see someone with a good connection for once, I hope it stays as good.
