Hub 3

[link to this post]

the Hub3 is designed to sit on a table or shelf - however I don't have one where I want the hub located.

Does anyone have any neat ideas on how to wall mount the unit? I have a few thoughts but wondered if anyone has done it already.

You could put up a small wall mounted shelf to put it on. I have not yet unpacked either of my HH5s yet because my FTTP has not been installed yet so I am not exactly sure what they look like.

You can drill two holes in the part of the base that protrudes at the rear (or possibly make them into keyhole slots) and use to fix to the wall horizontally.

The height will mean it protrudes more than a typical wall mounted device though.

That was one of my thoughts, the other was low profile "Top-Hat" brackets to go over the base. Protruding is not as issue as it is to replace the 2701 in a small comms area and will not cause an obstruction.

Not sure about the wall mounted bit but the Cat5/6 keyring loops is a good idea
