Fibre Optic Broadband is scheduled ?

[link to this post]

Fibre Optic Broadband is scheduled to be available to order on this line by 30/09/2015.

That will be 4 years overdue by next October
Do the BT executives have any clue as to what goes on and the continued dishonesty when speaking to the public like myself by keep saying very soon

The bt team on 01522 546 365 are still looking in to this matter but as always the blame for the delay rest with open reach as outlined by x Mr Ian Livingstone, BT's Chief Executive and the new chief Gavin Patterson

As to why the delay they haven't a clue and have yet to find the answer and with regret may never be able to as open-reach are a law unto themselves

You should use the DSL checker - www.dslchecker.bt.com

on this site i get this as i always have done
FTTC is currently not available on this cabinet due to following reasons:- Sorry it's taking us longer than planned to get your cabinet ready for service. Please bear with us.

anyhow with a 15.6 mbps come next September it's hardly a life changer and even then i still wouldn't trust BT to deliver on anything

I see the Openreach site gives conflicting info
Great news. Superfast Fibre is in your area and your cabinet is enabled and accepting orders. Contact your preferred communications provider for your home or business to order.

How long since the W&W site changed? I'm just wondering if the BT Wholesale checker hasn't updated yet, or if a system bug has allowed them to over-write a recent auto-update.

If you use the checker BatBoy gave with your phone number, then instead use the pure Postcode option, do you get different answers? You shouldn't, as here seems to be only Cab 150 serving the postcode, but ...!

Zen use a different checker

For FTTC you need to use the address checker option at https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html

Why address not just postcode? Because a postcode can be served by two or more cabinets, have seen some with 5 or 6

Cabinet 150 on Crawley exchange is listed as Sept 2015 using https://www.btwholesale.com/includes/adsl/main.html and that is the checker to generally believe and kick up a fuss over. The Openreach confuses too many people with it switching between cabinet/exchange without always being clear.

Cab 150 bob serves our estate only. All the main services and masts and controls for all phone and emergency are on our estate as were next to gatwicks runway so were on the ball even if BT aren't.

as with regards the Postcode option, i get 31/12/ 14 and for phone September 2015
