Infinity 2 Speed Problems slowing massively

[link to this post]

Hi all, new to here, iv got a problem with my infinity 2, was installed 6 months ago when my cab went live, intact i believe i was the first to go live, all was good for some time, my connection on the HH5 is 78.12 down with 19.53 Up. last few weeks iv noticed it slowing massively, the router remains with these connection figures but speed tests on the BT wholesale test, this sites test and others I'm struggling to get over 7mb at times, the interesting thing is Upload always stays as it should be 14-18mb its just download affected,

this has been tested on multiple machines, been through the single machine connected via cat 5 with bt and no different,

iv done the further tests on the BT wholesale checker and its was showing 6mb so they have agreed to look into it, the strange thing is certain times of day i can get 60/70mb, first thing this morning i got 72mb over wifi and now can't get 6mb, this has got to be a traffic but surly infinity should not be affected like this ?

i was getting 20mb on adsl+2 so I'm currently getting less than that.

Any ideas on what could be causing this

Sounds like congestion rather than the BB.

Post the link to your TBB speedtest.

When it is bad on wireless it is essential you try it wired, in order to rule out massive interference somewhere on your wireless link. A couple of (different) occasions will do.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.5/15.0Mbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

all of the speed tests posted on the bt forum are on cat 5 not wifi, so far this morning its flying, 75mb, by tonight it will slow down again,

the fttc cab can't be maxed out on bandwidth ? is there contention on fttc ? its a double cab and only been in place since august.

this morning speed test

Have you seen this thread about BT Wholesale congestion?

This page is also worth a look.
