BTSmart Hub VPN

[link to this post]

The BT Smart Hub has a VPN page which states the router will work with most VPN services. Does this mean I can VPN directly to the router so my remote pc thinks I'm at home?

Probably not - believe it is referring to the firmware not breaking outgoing VPN i.e. connect from home to the office at work, rather than the other way around.

I thought that might be the case. I will probably change back to my netgear in a few weeks. Thanks

Just got a BT smart hub 6 and infinity 1 - Windows 10 VPN crashes the hub (complete reboot) - Windows 7 works ok to the same remote Draytek device. Number of other posts around the web with people not able to connect to work VPN after an upgrade., BT tell me they do not support or guarantee VPN . Beware!
