Attainable rate shot up

[link to this post]

My attainable rate has shot up from ~89000 to ~128000 (on CMCOLE). Has anybody else seen this?
SNR Margin (dB) 20.3 14.7
Attenuation (dB) 14.4 0.0
Output Power (dBm) 13.8 5.9
Attainable Rate (Kbps) 129022 31279
Rate (Kbps) 79999 19999

Reboot the modem and see if it remains high or reverts to the original.

Have there been any local changes? gfast? vectoring?

If not, a 14.4 attenuation line should only be in the high 80's or low 90's

Don't think it's G.Fast, as there is no 'power bulge' on the cabinet. Not sure how I'd know whether vectoring was implemented. As for re-boots, it's been done, but figure seems to hove around 125000 all of the time.

Can you run DSL_stats ? Some of the graphs there will give more details.

89 was probably about right, maybe a little high for the attenuation with typical noise levels. I wonder if a couple of other lines have been turned off and cross talk eliminated - I have seen a case where one specific cross-talker could degrade a line by 15Mbps.

Looking at this page, from DSL_Stats, it looks like vectoring has indeed been enabled.

Thanks for the help MHC.
Wouldn't it be nice if BT would increase the cap on my line, like they've done for Infinity 1 customers!

Which would require Openreach to run a consultation with all providers as BT cannot have its own product set
