According to the Plusnet reps on this forum, there can be "an imbalance" somewhere else within the BT system, even when their copy of the IP Profile agrees with the BT Speed Test one. This is a mystery to everyone I have asked, but Plusnet reps seem to be able to cure it.
Are you able to see what the copy is through your MAAF control panel? Plusnet customers can see it in theirs - called Current line rate
If you get nowhere, I suggest you post in the Plusnet forum here. I expect they look in the MAAF one as well but I don't monitor that one myself.
