My exchange has been added to list.....

My exchange has been added to the upgrade list post a short while ago but im puzzled as to if it will increase my speeds?

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/5388-bt-wholesale...

Im currently getting between 15/16Mb speeds and live about 1Km straight line from the exchange.

Will I see any increase in speeds? Or will this upgrade just allow other isp's to install their equipment into the exchange?
The exchange has TALK TALK in but went with ADSL24 back in March with the adsl and phone package which suits our needs.

Cheers in advance

You are already on ADSL2+, so this will not increase your speeds.

You have ADSL2+ via another supplier. Those on your exchange who have not opted for your supplier will see better speeds

You gain a little more choice if you decide to change providers in the future

my view is BT21cn should be concentrated on exchanges that have no LLU or FTTC.

And how does FTTC connections get their data onto the BT Wholesale network then?

Through a different headend exchange?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.0/13.9Mbps @ 600m.
