This sounds exactly the same problem that I was experiencing with my connection. I have been very lucky that my ISP were persistent and finally got openreach to fix the problems with my line. Here is a link to my recent post

I'm not sure I've got the energy to go through this all again...

I hope it settles down when it dries out, or I hope and hope and hope VM digs up the road to provide us with services.



BT ADSL customer getting 4.2 Mbps (0.7 Mbps up) on a new road / new build development
(Was circa 1.6 Mbps for the first 4 years)
