ADSL2+

It would appear we now have adsl2+ at our exchange. do you have to be physically switched over to get an adsl2+ circuit ? I take it would also mean 21cn upgrade has taken place ( it has stopped taking ip stream orders ) and if so is capacity at the exchange likely to be increased. does the upload speed in crease that comes with adsl2+ have to be requested ?

The migrations are often done in bulk by Openreach, and yes, the upstream should just increase once migrated ......

But, sometimes, depending on who your current ISP is, these migrations don't happen automatically.

I had to move when my exchange upgraded. TT business would not upgrade line.
As said before, worth contacting isp.

Best off calling up. Sometimes automatic upgrades take ages. Sometimes they don't happen at all.

You do need a router which supports ADSL2+. Some of the earlier ones did not do this.
