Does upload traffic count towards the monthly 60GB

I'm confused, because in the past I've been told that uploaded traffic counts towards your monthly allowance. But here it says:

"We currently regard 50GB as being a fair maximum usage level of downloads during a rolling 30 day period for Home 8000 customers and 60GB for HomeOffice 8000 and RSL HomeOffice customers."

No mention of uploaded traffic.

I believe upload traffic is included, tdp will know as he built it.

Sorry, don't know the answer to this. The FUP was implemented after I left. Also something like this would be a product type decision rather than anything technical. Technical type people would be involved ion the discussion but the final outcome would be lead by product.

no, its not, as i exceed 100GB uploaded every month, and have never been victim to the FUP
it clearly states download traffic in the FUP too

Blimey, that's some going to upload 100GB a month on a 448kbps upload connection. You must have it constantly running?

Well, interesting to see this thread. To doubly add to the confusion, does it count UDP packets as well as TCP?

I run a freeware games server. I'm on Home 8000 and frequently shift just over 60Gb/30days of mostly UDP traffic - but that's made up of approximately 60% down, 40% up.

Unaffected by FUP so far.

All IP traffic will be measured. The routers don't know or care what's in the IP packet.
