Macro Photography

Borrowed a Tamron SP Di 90mm f/2.8 macro lens off of a colleague and manage to take this photo. I must say, good lens, but when you are the subject it is very hard to get yourself in focus for this sort of shot (especially with no live view and reversible LCD screen smile

Just had a go with my Sony HX200V, no lenses just on a tripod at right height and extra light

A couple recently taken with a Pentax DFA f2.8 100 Macro:

Zonocerus Elegans

Face

Orb Taken on a windy day and getting sharp focus difficult.

Both images are direct out of the camera at full size. I will add a crop of the Zonocerus Elegans to show the detail

One feature of the Pentax range is that it can be tethered to the PC and used in a "Live View" mode although there is a little lag and it still would require your head to be perfectly still.

Cracking pics, especially the detail in the first.

I have one. No quality whatsoever, but a "Can you guess what it is?" effort:
