Converting 8mm film to DVD

[link to this post]

Anyone experience with companies that do this? Reliability is important.

Our church has a couple (I think itís only 2) 8mm film reels that could usefully be transferred to more modern media.

Clearly a local company would have the advantage of not entrusting the films to the post and also face-to-face dealing for all sorts of reasons.

Yes, I have an address for the ones that show location of Northwich. It's a private house on an estate. Wary as they may just be projecting and videoing rather than properly scanning the film (considering the price) - despite what they say.
