Linksys WAG354G Strange downstream margin figure

Anyone come across this before?

Downstream Margin: 2147483644 db

I'm guessing it's a software bug perhaps, but may indicate a problem with my line?

Yep, it is a rather stupid software bug, some router's don't display negative SNR margins correctly, my Netgear does that to.

That would be about -5 dB

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware that there could be -ve SNR margins, does that indicate a problem?

Yes it would. It would imply that the noise is louder than the signal on the line

ADSL24 powered by entanet ...
DS Rate - 8128 Kbps Margin - 13dB Attenuation - 25dB
US Rate - 0832 Kbps Margin - 15dB Attenuation - 11dB
