Iíve just set up a ZyXEL Wireless N router (P-660HN). Itís working well but I canít work out how to get full stats, including line errors. This is all I get, either via the web interface or telenet:

noise margin upstream: 11 db
output power downstream: 19 db
attenuation upstream: 12 db

ZyXEL support tried to help but I suspect from the outcome there isn't anything more to be had.

Can anybody explain?

Thanks

What happens when you telnet to the device? Does it present you with a prompt? What happens if you type in ls return?

The only command that takes me anywhere is:

wan adsl linedata near

That brings up the same stats as I can find on the web interface. I tried ls return. No joy.

EDIT: One small problem solved. The command I needed is wan adsl perfdata. My stats:

Chantype: Interleave

Up/Down stream FEC : 397/ 0
Up/Down stream CRC : 131/ 0
Up/Down stream HEC : 33/ 0
Up/Down stream ES : 89/ 0
Up/Down stream SES : 0/ 0
Up/Down stream UAS : 13/ 10
Up/Down stream LOSS : 0/ 0
Up/Down stream NCD : 0/ 0
Up/Down stream LCD : 0/ 0
