Router-less DSL Modem

[link to this post]

I'm looking for a ADSL/ADSL2+ modem with no router/firewall functionality to connect to an existing dual channel wireless router.. Any recommendations?

You could look at a 2wire 2700HGV and put it into bridge mode. It then does nothing except the modem functionality and a single output to the router.

If you are on the BT Wholesale network, a BT Voyager 190 (if you can find one) is perfect for the job.

I've tried the following in that mode:

2-wire 2700hg... fairly easy to do with the version i have.
netgear dg834g v3 and v4... trivial to do via hidden web page.
speedtouch 585v7... really hard to do right, but possible.
billion bipac 7700n ... easy-ish.

plusnet via Draytek Vigor 2920 and Billion BiPAC 7700N (bridged)
