DGN 2000

RE: DGN 2000

Can anyone who owns this router please tell me what real world wireless n speeds they are achieving?

I've tried a DGND3300v2 and a DGND3700 and got around 12MB/s via 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

Thanks

Not quite the answer you were looking for, but related...

I'm fairly familiar with this router and like it BUT it does have a tendency to 'fry' it's Ethernet/LAN ports!

Google for dgn2000 lan ports and you will see lots of reports - it runs very hot which seems to be the killer. The WiFi keeps going though smile

If you should get one make sure you mount it upright rather than flat to help keep it cooler...

I have been sent three replacements. The 3rd is currently unused as the warranty has expired. I have had a DGN2200 for about 6 months (FOC from Plusnet). ~So far it has been OK. A port on my TG585v7 died the other day.

Good news. For future reference the newer version, DGN2200, is also a solid performer.

Oliver.
