PPPoE Gigabit router?

[link to this post]

Does anyone have any recommendations for a router that supports PPPoE and has gigabit ports?

IPv6 capable might be of interest as well but far from essential.

Does not need to be wireless - in fact I'd rather not if it helps keep the price down.

I may as well say it 'cos someone else will if I don't wink

Why don't you rely on a switch for the gigabit part, and forget the gigabit stuff on the router itself?

Needless to say I think the Draytek 2830 should meet all them criteria including gigabit, but double check!

Have to agree ... Use a decent switch for the Gigabit network and a single connection to the router. A 100Mbps link to the router will not matter - at present as the onward is well under that.

Even when we start to see download rates at 200Mbps + a routers with Gigabit being common, I would still suggest using a separate network switch.
