Which DSL wireless router?

[link to this post]

Hello one and all
I'm about to buy a new wireless router and I like to go on recommendations smile

So which one should I go for?

The only things I would like it to have is 'N' rated wireless speeds and 4 x gigabit ethernet ports? Also, are all new routers ok with IPV6?

I'm with Plusnet if that makes any difference?

Thank you in advance!

I'd recommend a Billion 7800N. It supports 802.11n, it has 4 Gigabit ports and it supports IPv6. It's a very solid router, with good firmware.

I had a bad experience with a Netgear DGND3700, which had very buggy firmware.

Not all new routers support IPv6. Incredible, but true.

If you are looking for a normal router that works well, then get one of these tp-link td-w8960n. No IPV6 or 1G LAN ports, but for about £45 it does anything else....
