FritzBox 7390 BT Static IP Address

[link to this post]

Hi,

I just bought a Fritz!Box 7390 for use with BT Business Broadband FTTC.

It all works fine apart from I cannot figure out how to configure it to make use of the 5 static IP addresses I have.

I cannot see how to assign router with the IP address BT supplied...?

Anyone got any ideas? Where in the UI do I need to go?

thanks,

nc

In the IP settings section you need to disable NAT, then more options should appear to configure the IP blocks and the passing on of the full IP to the machines on the LAN side of the device.

thanks,

is there a way to configure the box so that it continues to serve 192.168.x.x address to internal clients via DHCP, performing NAT using the assigned router IP and allow routing for the small static ip range BT provided?

when I entered my static IP details and tried to configure DHCP - it only seems to allow addresses from my routable range, and that is limited to five!

There is quick a lot of useful advice here:

http://service.avm.de/support/en/skb/FRITZ-Box-7390-...

Whirlpool.net au (router forum/AVM) is also a good source of F!B advice.

Multi-NAT is what you are after, and cannot remember if the 7390 does it not
