Anyone any idea why Eclipse are charging £40 for a fibre connection when BT charge £26 and Plusnet £28 ?

Because Eclipse and other providers are pricing based on the assumption that people will use their usage allowance.

BT is hoping that people will not use much than is average for users on their network and similar with Plusnet.
