Broadband Outage

Anybody else affected by this, started yesterday about 9.10pm. Still ongoing now. Shows connected to ISP but not connected to the internet. Eclipse page shows an awful lot of telephone codes affected but mine doesn't seem to be one of them although I am, having to post this connected via TOR. For some reason TOR doesn't seem to be affected.

Eclipse broadband fine here in Cheshire.

Well I don't know if this is a coincidence but although Eclipse's status page was showing the incident closed at 2.30pm I still was not able to connect to the internet except through TOR. This got me thinking. TOR uses it's own DNS, so I changed the DNS in Airport Utility back to Eclipses' ( wasn't using theirs before ), rebooted the Airport Extreme and, goodness me, back to ordinary internet. Very odd. I'll try putting the other DNS back in now and see if it happens again.

Well, changed the DNS back to what they were and everything seems to be okay. Odd. Thanks for the reply though Cheshire Man.

I've not seen any outages today - just checked and my router has been connected for >9 hours (I turn it off overnight). And I saw no outages yesterday.

Edit: I use the standard default Eclipse DNS servers.
