Getting a MAC from UKFSN

[link to this post]

I have tried the online MAC request several times over the last month, but no mac has ever been produced.
I have also emailed support and sales @ ukfsn asking where it is, and I have had NO reply in several attempts.

Has anyone else had this problem with UKFSN, and if so is there any option other than having to cancel broadband on my line?

Cheers,
Balthazar

Hey,

I read some others are having the same problems. Best bet is to email support@enta.net instead for getting your MAC key rather than UKFSN.

Yes, I had not been on this site for a few days, and missed the similar post. Looks like I am not alone anyway.

Jason appears to be running UKFSN on a part time basis, after he's dealt with practically anything that is important to him first like family, friends, and god only knows what else.

No issue with him having a break, but he appears totally uninterested in the business. Mind you, (prepares for the usual backlash) it isn't surprising when his accounts are so far behind.

I also came here to see if any one else was having troubles getting a MAC, been trying for a few weeks now with no luck and have now missed out on a killer offer from O2 frown

Surely there are laws about things like this, that sounds so over dramatic and sensational lol -- but really, customers should be able to get their MACs without jumping through hoops, right?

Unfortunately there are just ofcom regulations, and ofcom are useless.

Anyone having trouble getting a MAc can go direct to Enta via cs@enta.net
Make sure you include your username and adsl tel#.
It is just common courtesy to inform your reseller.

...this is a two way thing!
Harder with some resellers than others it seems...

I would say the common courtesy bit go's out of the window when said reseller carnt be bothered to supply MAC or even reply
