Connection cuts out multiple times a day, just me ?

I keep seeing a yellow exclamation mark in my taskbar and when that happens I can't use the net, this happens about 8 or 9 times a day since yesterday. Before that it would happen only a couple of times a day which I could cope with. I am guessing it is just me, but what could it be ? There is no crackling on the line that I can hear.

I am with UKFSN but I don't think it is to do with them specifically, maybe Enta though ?

Line fault or router usually, got another router you can try or can you check the routers logs for dropped connection.

If you still have a problem after trying another router then get Entanet support to run a line test.

Typical, just went down again when typing this message. I have a single port router with a 8 port switch. I will try and check the router logs, although not too sure how I check them. After it goes down it takes about 2 to 3 minutes to kick back in again. Sometimes I will get the pop-up from the taskbar that says "More logon information may be required".

I will try and check the logs. Thanks for the advice.

You say there is an exclamation note on your machine, this means it thinks it has lost connection but does not necessarily mean the internet has dropped.
Have a look at the lights on your router when this happens and see if any go out, most router will mark each light but if your not sure post back with your router make and model and someone should be able to help.
Looking in the router logs will show if its dropping the connection and if its dropping sync or PPP

Sounds more like a home networking problem

How is your computer connected to the router - wired(ethernet), wireless, USB?

Right Click on the yellow exclamation and tell us what it says.
