network problems?

Anyone else having issues?

My internet access is terrible at the moment. My router claims to be connecting to the exchange at its usual speed, but web traffic is so eratic as to be useless. It took 10 secs for this page to come up and many pages are timing out.

Some would say that I shouldn't be trying to read the BBC or the Guardian, but I didn't think enta was into politics smile

Is there a routing issue at the moment?

cheers

What result do you get from the BT speed tester? - http://speedtester.bt.com/

Is your connection rate limited? Have you used up your monthly bandwidth allowance?

Have you called Enta support?

I had called enta - No fault on the line.

It is intermittent so speed varies from normal to nothing and nowhere near my limit.

Discovered by accident that their is a problem in the area affecting lots of people - couldn't enta have seen that?

Seems that BT think there is an illegal transmitter in the village causing massive interference. They are wandering around with RDF equipment trying to locate the source.
