FTTC router recommendation (UKFSN)

[link to this post]

Hi, thinking of moving to UKFSN fibre package from current ADSL.

Any recommendations for a reliable FTTC compatible wireless router? Don't need all the bells and whistles, mainly want something widely seen as reliable.

Been on UKFSN ADSL package for some time without any issues. Any concerns out there moving to fibre? Thanks

When I first got FTTC with IDNet I didn't feel like lashing out for the one they sold.

I got one of these. I'm now with Plusnet, and had a free router Netgear from them on joining and a Thomson TG582n on upgrading.

I prefer my own as the wireless is much stronger and faster than either of those.

GUI is a bit fiddly but quite flexible.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 54.0/14.9Mbps @ 600m. - BQM
